Amm Music Productions Introduces Blushing Brides the experience of Rolling Stones experience
ABOUT US.Since 1979 one band has captured and exceeded the experience of a Rolling Stones concert… It becomes abundantly clear, early in the performance, that the BLUSHING BRIDES are something exceedingly special and excessively unique in an industry of rampant mediocrity, permeated with bands aspiring to harness the excitement only the Rolling Stones could previously deliver. The phenomenon and mystique that are the Brides is partly attributable to their lead singer and frontman Maurice Raymond, and bandmates, such as fellow original member, Paul Martin and a stable of longstanding members the likes of, guitarists Des Leahy, Lee Boice, Gerard Popma, James Green, Daniel Hoffenberg, just to name a few, along with bassists James Taylor, Martin Van Dyjk, Johnny Pisano, and Matthew Greenberg, and backed by the resounding pounding backbeats of percussionists, Paul Dawicki, Alexander Tukatsch, Richard Berthiaume, Jack Fuller, and Ethan Eubanks. In a business where showmanship should be paramount, the Brides have no rivals and are in a class all their own. The Blushing Brides are force of musical interpretationthat takes the music soaring to ever piercing heights. The potency of the Brides combined stage presence, persona, and musical interpretations transform each performance into a memorable concert spectacle. Although the comparisons are undeniable, the seemingly prototyped BLUSHING BRIDES have distinguished themselves from the original (Stones), with a very distinctive sound and delivery. All cover versions clearly have the Brides improvisational signature stamped on them, and are performed at an energy level that is immeasurable. The spontaneity and passion of the music allows the audience to participate and in effect create the entire event. GEMS FROM THE VAULT. We have seldom shown the creative side of the Brides alumni throughout the decades. And, unknown to most, various Brides' members continued to collaborate on original material throughout the decades long past the RCA era of the early 1980s.
Paul and I would occasionally write and recorded together when the song was best suited for my approach. We’ve always thought of these songs as ‘bastard’ children of the Brides.
The Brides' demos from 1985-1990 have yet to be located, but here are some Maurice and Paul collaborations from the following decade (1995-2000) that include various Bride’s alumni playing on the recordings.
